About Little Shop of Props

Sam Simmons & Terry Simmons.
Both father and son created this project together after Sam Simmons performed in an amateur production of 'The Little Shop of Horrors' with RotherhamTheatricalStudentAcademy, an amateur theatre company based in Rotherham. Before showcased on stage in 2021, the original production was cancelled in march 2020 upon the first lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic. Sam took this opportunity to design the first two pods of Audrey 2 puppet plants to rehearse with after lockdown, as featured in the show, and worked with Terry to build the four plants needed for any performance. Sam has always had a passion for building props and costumes after following first place awards at comic-cons for large scale cosplays and performing puppetry at many theatre performances. These puppets are available for any production/company to hire and are perfect for any venue but are designed to fit smaller venues with a much cheaper price than the professional ones offered. While still maintaining professional quality and lots of character, these puppets can give a west end material performance with any youth performers or adults working the puppets.
